LA Chalet

Perched at the very top of the mountain, LA Chalet is a secluded contemporary retreat designed to embrace expansive, uninterrupted panoramic views in every direction. The architecture rises lightly from the terrain, with clean horizontal lines and elevated volumes that float above the landscape, creating a quiet dialogue between built form and nature.

The chalet is organised across two levels, connected by a sculptural curved staircase that anchors the interior. The upper floor hosts the private living spaces, opening onto a balcony that captures the vast mountain horizon. Below, the main living area unfolds toward the outdoors, merging seamlessly with the terrace and sunken landscape.

At the heart of the project lies a dramatic infinity swimming pool, positioned at the edge of the slope to visually merge with the distant valley. The water surface becomes an extension of the sky, reinforcing the feeling of suspension above the landscape.

Natural stone retaining walls, large glass openings, and warm minimalist interiors complement the rugged mountain context while maintaining a refined, modern aesthetic. Designed as a hideaway for calm and contemplation, LA Chalet frames light, view, and nature in every space—an elevated sanctuary above the world.
