RA Atrium Residence

RA Atrium Residence is a contemporary single-family home conceived as a calm architectural composition that balances modern geometry with a strong connection to landscape and light. The design is organized around a central open courtyard, which acts as the heart of the house—bringing daylight, natural ventilation, and visual continuity into all main living spaces.

The architectural language is defined by clean horizontal volumes, precise proportions, and a restrained material palette. Light-toned stone cladding and smooth plaster surfaces are contrasted with deep window recesses and generous glazing, creating depth and shadow throughout the façades. Large corner windows and full-height openings blur the boundary between interior and exterior, allowing the garden and courtyard to become an extension of daily living.

Internally, the plan is carefully zoned to ensure privacy and clarity of movement. Public areas such as the living, dining, and guest spaces are oriented toward the courtyard and outdoor terraces, while the private bedroom wing is set back to provide tranquility and separation. Circulation flows naturally around the courtyard, enhancing spatial experience and reinforcing the project’s inward-looking character.

Landscape design plays an essential role in the project. Curved pathways, soft planting, and a central feature tree soften the rigid geometry of the architecture, adding warmth and a sense of human scale. Together, architecture and landscape form a cohesive environment that emphasizes comfort, privacy, and timeless modern living.
