Nestled into the natural slope of its terrain, SS Chalet is envisioned as a serene linear retreat that seamlessly merges architecture with landscape. The design unfolds along a single, elongated axis that opens fully toward unobstructed views and a tranquil infinity-edge swimming pool, creating an intimate connection between interior living spaces and the surrounding nature.

The ground floor layout is organized with clarity and comfort in mind: a generous living and dining space overlooks the poolside terrace, while the master suite and secondary rooms enjoy direct access to outdoor seating areas. Functional zones—including storage, service rooms, and staff quarters—are discreetly integrated along the rear façade to preserve the purity of the main elevation.

A defining feature of the project is the deep, continuous shaded veranda, supported by crafted horizontal elements that modulate light throughout the day. Mature trees are woven directly into the deck, blurring boundaries between built and natural environments, while warm materials like wood, textured concrete, and stone enhance the chalet’s grounded, tranquil atmosphere.

The landscaping embraces the site’s slope, extending the architecture into a terraced garden of native planting, winding stone walls, and immersive natural pathways. The experience culminates in panoramic vistas that shift with the light—at sunrise, at dusk, and through the stillness of the night.
